DefMod and Objasm

Does anybody know why DefMod gives the -stamp and -quit switches when
it invokes Objasm?

The -quit switch is listed in the current manuals as being ignored but
accepted for compatability purposes, and -stamp isn't mentioned at all
but does seem to be accepted by Objasm.

The reason I ask is simply that the unix cross-assembler in the GCCSDK
doesn't support either switch so I had to strip them out of Stewart's
portable defmod to get it working.
