I'll say that I regarded the beta status of the new stuff as just that,
and haven't rushed to investigate it. However, the truth is that I'm not
too good at keeping track of this sort of changes, until someone shoves
it in my face (there being more to life than OSLib ;-)

Thanks for doing that, it's on the to do list.
