8 bit os_f handles

   Sorry, I misspoke. You are right, if |os_f| was changed to 32 
bits, recompilation would be triggered by correct use of makefiles. 
There are still many reasons not to do it.

 | I've already had to fork my own version of OSLib to fix os_f, now I
 | have the extra additional and unecessary task of maintaining it.

   When the |os_w| version comes along, I'm sure you'll find it very 
easy and convenient to change your code to use it. No extra 
maintenance required.
