Well, I don't think I'll try early versions of G++, but otherwise, yes. 

I've tested it with Norcroft C, with and without CFront, with various
combinations of BOOL_DEFINED and __CC_NORCROFT. All works as expected.

I don't think it'll be a problem, but I've never used GNU C or C++, and
will need to install them on my RPC. So if you (or anyone else here)
want to have a go in the meantime, here it is, together with the C++
test prog:
