I believe this is something that Jonathan has had quite strong
opiniond about in the past, but I might be wrong. It might just
be that he objected to the use of the "bits" type for unsigned
things that weren't bitfields and that some more generic unsigned
int type might be possible.

It's in CVS so should be in the next release if it isn't in the
current one. It isn't APCS callable so there is no C veneer but
there should be a constant for the SWI number.
