Well guessed.

I'd be delighted. Making a positive contribution to the OSLib package
is definitely a feel-good experience.

Any tips for suitable commands to generate the diffs?

The approach I have in mind is:
- On Unix: "cvs checkout ... " to get current head
- "RISCOSify" to convert to RISC OS file naming
- Do modifications and test the effect.
- "make <correct 'clean' target>" to leave only the original files
- "UNIXify" to convert back to Unix file naming
- On Unix: some kind of "cvs diff" command, with suitable options, to
generate the diffs. Will have to look this up.

I'm looking in particular for tips involving the last command. Maybe
there are some nifty options I should pass to get diffs that are most
helpful to you.

All this assumes that cvs checkins are blocked for mere mortals like me
(:-), and rightly so.

In the meantime, we are now officially suffering a heatwave (5 days
over 25, of which at least 3 over 30 degrees Celsius), which is giving
no indication of letting up. So progress may be very, *very* slow.
