That's the point.

Previously in the thread (which I do hope you've been reading :-) )
BubbleHelp has it's source code split into separate units and uses
-desktop ^ to ensure that the object files created get put in a communal
o directory.

But I'm not going to start using ^ when in the root of a RamDisc and
producing a minimal case to file a bug report.

I'm not fsck-ing with the Makefiles anymore - I've spent enough time on
it and I ain't wasting any more due to one or more bugs in objasm.
