Thanks, Christian. First, despite some fairly extensive searching, I have
not been able to find any authoritative reference to corroborate this. Have
you got any (apart from pragmatic observation)?

Secondly, if not an os_colour, what is the format? Are you suggesting that
we define a new type for this, which will entail defining a new swi call -
say os_read_pointw?

Whilst I'd be quite happy to add this call, I'm not entirely sure on how to
implement it. Does anyone else have any suggestions?
