The impression I get, that similar to the non native only building of
OSLib, the cross compiler is a higher priority amoungst the gcc
developers than the native version, or am I mistaken?

No criticism is meant, and this is certainly not a dramatical issue,
I just wish to bring to your attention that the ability to build both
applications and core libraries on the native platform is still
important to RISC OS developers. We aren't all yet using a linux box
to cross compile.
