GCC 4.1.1 R2 with OSLib 6.90

Hallo Everyone,

having just got a beagleboard my Christmas project is to recompile 
some of my software with GCC 4.1.1 Release2 so that its beagleboard 
compatible. This requires recompiling OSLib6.9 with the new compiler.

GCC4.1.1 uses ELF object file format. Do I have a chance to recompile 
OSLib or should I wait for OSLib7?

If it is possible to recompile it has anyone done it and could they 
spare me reinventing the wheel (and making it square)?
