That'll be because I stopped turning the hourglass on when I enabled
my blocked socket handler that is supposed to poll the Wimp when a
socket call blocks. I'm not convinced that the Acorn stack is calling
that handler as often as I'd expect though.

Something like that should do... I'll have a look at it when I get
