Direct access; but I've just tried it with IMAP, and the effect seems the
same. Even if I log out of RemoteNB and try to run two pine sessions, the
second doesn't steal the lock so I guess it's not RemoteNB's fault. I've
had a read of Pine's docs, and it certainly looks like it _should_ be able
to steal the lock, and I'm certain it _used_ to work. I'll have to chase
this elsewhere... - sorry for blaming RemoteNB!
