Hi,

with delight I saw that OSLib is on a CVS server. Perhaps you can help
me get the grips with CVS...

I'm using cvs 1.0.2 from Maarten Bezemer.

cvs login
cvs init (for a repository on local RISC OS machine)
cvs import
cvs checkout
all work with no problem. (Local repository either as CVSROOT
:local:... or as :pserver: using !CVSServer from Maarten Bezemer).

cvs commit
works for a cvsnt CVS server on Win 2000 (I tried that one since it's
simple to set up and I didn't want to wreck some project on
  sourceforge.net).

cvs add
is a pain since directory "c" is considered an extension
cvs add source.c if the file is in c.source
cvs add doc.text if the file is in doc.text

cvs diff
I managed that for doc.text but never to source.c (or c.source)

I assume you use a RISC OS machine for OSLib with CVS. Do you have some
docs or obey files or the like outlining the main cvs commands and what
cvs port do you use?

In case there's no docs around you could do e.g. a checkout, the odd add
(adding a file, a c-source, a directory, e.g.) a diff and the other odd
often needed command and then just send me the saved task window. I'd be
happy to try to figure things out then.

Thanks a lot!
