Do you really think that given all the things a developer could be
doing instead, they are going to be encouraged to carry on supporting
this plaform, if before they can write a RISC OS application they have
to spend a considerable time working out how to build the compiler so
it runs under RISC OS?
I'm afraid this only serves to marginalise and devalue your valuable
work, as the vast majority of RISC OS developers do so on RISC OS.
Once the compiler only runs on Linux, its only going to be used by
those working on large builds such as unix ports and NetSurf. The rest
of us will be stuck with an old version, which only serves to remind
us of the sound of nails being hammered in to confins.
Anyway lets take this to csa.programmer if there is anything more ad
add.
