A few questions

Hi,
I'm pleased to say that RemoteNB is now at a stage where I feel I can
switch to using it permanently, instead of MsgServe.
I've been using it for a couple of days now and have a few
points/questions.
Marking articles as read seems very slow. When I switched to RemoteNB
at the start of the week, there were a few newsgroups with ~=10000
articles in them, and I wanted to mark all but the last few days worth
as read. I didn't time it, but it seemed to take between 5 and 10
minutes in some cases. I've found that marking even a few 10's of
articles as read can take around 10 seconds.
While polling for new messages is much quicker than it used to be, it
still seems to freeze my machine for around 0.5 - 1 seconds. Usually,
this is fine and I don't notice it, but it's a bit frustrating if I'm in
the middle of typing something.
Is there any way to make RemoteNB move deleted mail to a 'trash' folder?
Could group subscription be made to behave more along the lines of how
it does with MsgServe (ie. allow you to show only newsgroups with a
certain substring in their name)?
That's about it for now. For all I know, some of the speed issues could
be down to RISC OS or the IMAP protocol; I'll dig out Marcel <fx:
grimaces> in the next few days and see how that behaves by way of
comparison.
Many thanks Tom, for all your hard work so far.
Cheers,
Ben Laughton
